These pictures are like fireflies in the darkness of the past. My words are synonymous with my experience of the first 2 weeks during Amal Career Prep Fellowship. The ice-breaking time with the fellows having diverse backgrounds in order to resolve compatibility issues among the fellows and credit goes to Madam Zeest Hassan Qureshi (Program Manager) and Iqra Zaheer Ahmad (Program Associate) for creating a safe and sound learning environment with fabulous engaging activities for the sack of Amal Batch-148 from the first day of the program. During the first week of the fellowship, there was a good boast up by an introduction to each other just to tell ‘‘the story behind your name’’. I remember still the story behind Madam Zeest Qureshi and Gul-e-Rana Iftikhar which was so nice and sweet. Then, our first project work was ahead. I started my work with full passion and diligence. The night when I started work on my first task ‘Displaying The Amal Values’ in my lab with full pride in front of my lab mates. The excitement was on peak and there was no feeling of the passing time. Stay for the whole night in the lab for the completion of your project work and in time submission to cast excellent first impression upon the others was inexplicable. I was never able to feel that charm again during the fellowship. How can I miss it? The unforgettable Video Awards on the topic of ‘Most Valuable Team Player Communication’. That was an excellent experience for me to go out of the box.

My life map.
Our first working group at Amal.

The second week was more memorable due to the proper start of conversation among the fellows and the announcement of working groups for teamwork. It was an honor for me to be selected as the leader of the group. The sweet and fruitful proceedings of our work resulted in a companionship bond with my members especially with Saman, Zeeshan, Sami, and Sitara. Though the last one left us from the fellowship later, this made a well-wisher connection between us. My group members gave me valuable feedback regarding the development of the smart goals of life. Our care and efforts were the true presentations of good teamwork spirit. My proud moment during these two weeks was only that at least I was the reason for a smile for my Amal family.
